 This is where you will get the basics on understanding colour. There is very little theory here! Just enough to get you moving! I will fast track you to know how to choose colours based on the basic but fundamental elements of colour combining, and the way that I manage it for stunning results every time. You’ll also learn to understand how to choose whites with confidence-a HUGE bug bearer for most people!

Week Three

Get inspired in this week’s area of focus. You will learn what elements of your past you can use creatively in your new project and how to create what I call your ‘interior story’. You will learn about mixing pattern and colour to success. This is a fun and inspiring module!

Week Four [PLAN]

• How to cut & cull for success

No project can actually be implemented successfully without understanding your numbers! This week I will take you through my budget calculator exercise and look at the different price points you want to consider for your project based on the scope. We’ll also understand how empowering it is to learn what to keep, and what to let go off for this exciting change.

Week Five

• Plan your decorating project
• Working with trades
• Kitchen & Bathroom

 The proof is in the planning! This week we’ll discuss the techniques I use to plan my projects so they run effortlessly [well as close as we can get to effortless!]. We’ll discuss working with trades successfully and address how you can be on top of two most important and costly rooms-your kitchen and bathroom.

Week Six [CREATE]

• Managing Your Own project like a designer

You’ve learnt the skills, planned properly now it’s time to execute! We’ll cover how I track my orders [a little or a lot] and how I plan everything around one big day-which I call install day. Whether you are a seasoned designer or an inspired homemaker, scheduling an install in one go is the most effective way to do this. An important week as we move closer to the finish line!

Week Seven

• Install & Style Like a Rockstar

 Ok everything’s ready and you are going to follow your processes and install your room/or rooms like a pro! We’ll cover how you can arrange this like a seasoned professional and how you can make this happen in the most time efficient way possible. You’ll learn the secrets to styling! New furniture’s great but without accessories and that magic dust we call ‘the finishing touches’, you won’t have a finished room you can be proud of. A truly transformative week!

Week Eight

• Create Your Project binder

Woo Hoo! You finished installing your project! Now you can show off your skill and handy work to your friends and family and feel proud of the results, because unlike most people you have been able to follow a professional and organised process! I’ll also share with you how to create your own Project binder with all the pertinent information you’ll want to keep hold of for warranties etc as well as before & after photos you’ll take throughout the process.
